BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota Democrats say a planned legislative hearing on the new federal health care bill is stacked with people who opposed the measure.

The Legislature's Industry, Business and Labor Committee is holding the hearing Wednesday in the Heritage Center on the state Capitol grounds.

Assistant Democratic House leader Kenton Onstad says some of the hearing's witnesses are "partisan in nature." One is a representative of the Cato Institute, which is critical of government entitlement programs.

House Republican majority leader Al Carlson says Democrats were asked to suggest witnesses of their own for the hearing. Carlson says the hearing's agenda was published two weeks ago, but Onstad hasn't complained until now.
