Palin Backs Emmer for Minnesota Governor

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Sarah Palin is backing Republican Tom
Emmer in the Minnesota governor's race.
The former Alaska governor posted on Twitter and then Facebook
on Thursday that she is endorsing Emmer, who faces off Friday with
fellow state Rep. Marty Seifert for the state GOP endorsement.
Both Emmer and Seifert have promised to drop out if the other
wins the party's backing.
Emmer attended a reception with Palin when she was in town
earlier this month to raise money for U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann.
