Rolla Woman Faces 20 Years in Prison for Burglary Spree

A 21-year old Rolla, North Dakota woman could spend up to 20 years behind bars for a burglary spree a year ago in which a stolen car was rammed into a Belcourt bar.

A 21-year old Rolla, North Dakota woman could spend up to 20 years behind bars for a burglary spree a year ago in which a stolen car was rammed into a Belcourt bar.

Courtney Charbonneau pleaded guilty in federal court this week to two counts of burglary and two counts of larceny.

On April 3, 2009, Charbonneau and two juveniles broke into a residence in the Belcourt area and took money and keys to a car. They used that car to ram into a Belcourt bar. Once inside, they stole alcohol, money and other items. On their way out, authorities say they stole another car.

Each count of burglary and larceny carries a maximum penalty of five years in

prison and a quarter million dollar fine.

Charbonneau will be sentence in July.
