Dunseith Man Gets 15 Year Prison Sentence for Sexual Assault
A 44-year-old man from Dunseith, North Dakota will spend 15 years in federal prison for a violent sexual assault last spring.

A U.S. District Court jury convicted Primus Demery on charges of abusive sexual contact, sexual abuse and assault resulting in serious bodily injury.
Today a judge sentenced him to 15 years in prison to be followed by 15 years of probation. He was also ordered to pay restitution and register as a sex offender.
The U-S attorney says Demery was drinking April 19th of last year at a home on the Turtle Mountain Reservation next door to the victim. Demery entered the home and violently assaulted the victim as she slept.
