BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The National Weather Service says a spring
storm promises to bring heavy, wet snow to parts of the Dakotas,
along with strong winds.
That could cause travel problems, and put stress on electrical
poles and lines in areas that have seen massive power outages in
earlier storms this year.
Forecasters say up to 10 inches of snow is possible in southwest
North Dakota by Friday morning, with amounts tapering off to the
north and east.
Up to 8 inches of snow could fall in northwestern South Dakota,
with lesser amounts in the north central part of the state.
