Lancaster Man Sentenced For Solicitation
A Lancaster, Minnesota man has been sentenced to 21 days of probationary jail time and a stay jail sentence of up to three years for soliciting a young girl for sex.
A Lancaster, Minnesota man has been sentenced to 21 days of probationary jail time and a stay jail sentence of up to three years for soliciting a young girl for sex.
Dean Lyberg, 48, was sentenced today for solicitation of a child to engage in sexual conduct.
The Kittson County Sheriff's Department says a family member of the girl filed a complaint with them in December.
Lyberg also can not have any alcohol for three years, can not have contact with children unless approved, and has to pay a fine of $1,000 dollars.
He will also have to do a sex offender evaluation, and he can't have contact with the victim.
If Lyberg violates any of these, he could face up to three years in prison.
