The price at the pump has reached the three dollar mark in Grand Forks again.
That's almost a dollar higher then where is was last May. While there is no one reason for the climb, the question is how high will it go.
Local gas station owner Loren Dusterhoft he says there are many factors that affected gas prices.
And couldn't name just one for the recent slow climb to three dollars. He says the oil spill in the Gulf could be affected price. Grand Forks has some of the higher priced gas around the state, but just slightly. A gallon of gas in Fargo is about twenty cents cheaper, and ten cents cheaper in Bismarck. Dusterhoft doesn't think prices will go much above three dollar a gallon this summer.
Dusterhoft says the Refinery in Mandan will shut down soon just temporary for maintenance. He says that could cause of shortage of gasoline locally.
