Not enough parking.

That's what the Grand Forks Downtown Design Review Board says about the latest design of the Civic Auditorium Re-development Project.

Board members voted against a proposed plan of the project that will be built where the current Civic Auditorium sits.

The plans are to have a 53 residential unit built on the current site, with 82 parking spaces.

After reviewing the plan for the first time today, one board member said there needs to 50 more parking spots.

Architects JLG will go back and look at what changes can be made to add more parking.

Board member Adams wasn't sure if today's no vote would affect the time line of the project.
