Mayville Man Faces Charges For Allegedly Cutting Water Line

A Mayville, North Dakota man is being charged with burglary and criminal mischief after authorities say he entered a home and allegedly cut the hot water line to the sink causing extensive water damage.

A Mayville, North Dakota man is being charged with burglary and criminal mischief after authorities say he entered a home and allegedly cut the hot water line to the sink causing extensive water damage.

32-year-old Douglas Strand owns DMS Construction.

Authorities say he cut the water line at Jason and Dawn Huard's rural Mayville house on the 9th.

Strand is being held in the Traill County Jail.

He will be making his first court appearance Wednesday.
