Writing was the focus at East Grand Forks Senior High School today.
Bemidji author Will Weaver talked to students about what it takes to be an author. Having a number of books published for young adults, Weaver had a question and answer session about writing, publishing and Midwestern literature. Weaver said creative minds are key, and follow through is a must.
"Ideas are easy, and the process then begins, the writing process. And then it becomes daily work. You guys are learning that process right here."
Weaver recently published a third book in a trilogy about racing. A few of Weaver's books have been turned into made for TV movies.
