School Bus Collides with Pickup in Walsh County
Seven students were on their way to Grafton for an event when the bus collided with a pickup at the intersection of county roads 6 and 15.
The driver a Midway school bus has been cited after after an accident in Walsh County today.
Seven students were on their way to Grafton for an event when the bus collided with a pickup at the intersection of county roads 6 and 15.
The highway patrol says the bus was at a stop sign on County Road 6 and pulled out into the path of the pickup which was westbound on 15.
The pickup's driver, 61-year-old Arnold Dvorak of Grand Forks, attempted to swerve around the bus, but was unable to avoid a collision.
None of the students were hurt, but Dvorak suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the bus, 42-year-old Tim Downer of Gilby, was citied for Failure to Yield.
