If you have ever wanted to fly, this summer is your chance. The best part is, it's free.
The Grand Forks International Airport is offering a free ground school. Instructors will teach you how to fly a plane like this. Residents will be able to sign up for a beginner's course in flying. The program starts on June 14th and lasts 15 weeks. There is a total of five classes, and each class is offered three times to fit everyone's schedules.
" I will get students interested from 15-years-old to a lady I met at the airshow last weekend who, I didn't ask, but must've been in her eighties who was very interested in learning how to fly," said Chief Pilot, Sean Varian.
It is just a few simple steps to sign up. To learn more, visit www.freegroundschool.com
