Clifford Family Resolves Will Dispute

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Family members of former University of North Dakota President Thomas Clifford have apparently resolved a dispute over his will.
A trial that was scheduled to begin Tuesday was called off. Son Stephen Clifford confirmed that the matter was "resolved" but declined further comment. An attorney for Gayle Clifford, Thomas Clifford's widow, also declined comment.
Thomas Clifford died in February 2009. Two of his sons by his first wife challenged the will, which left most of Clifford's property to Gayle, his second wife, and named her as the administrator of his estate.
