Cold temperatures didn't keep nearly 90 floats from taking part in today's Potato Bowl Parade in Grand Forks.
A pancake breakfast kicked off the morning as floats lined up downtown to get ready for the parade.
Many people were out there to take part in the festivities and have a good time, while others used the parade as an opportunity to raise money for loved ones.
The Gray Matter Coalition was giving away free hotdogs to promote an upcoming benefit for a friend who is a cancer survivor.
Jeremy Swisher: "she's kind of had some hard luck and she's been through quite a bit with surgery and what not and just trying to help out a bit."
The parade was one of many events that were held to celebrate Potato Bowl week.
