GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A hockey standout who figures to be a midround selection in next month's NHL draft says he will play for the University of North Dakota.

Forward Mark MacMillan chose the Fighting Sioux over Northeastern, where his brother will go this fall.

MacMillan was one of the top scorers in the British Columbia Hockey League this past season, tallying 80 points in 59 games for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.

He is ranked No. 135 by the NHL's Central Scouting Bureau.
