Source of Water Problem Found in Michigan, ND

Problem fixed but water still not safe to drink.

The sewer system in Michigan, North Dakota has been fixed.

An unknown problem caused the town to go without water on some days or with only a limited supply for a week. It was turned on for good yesterday, but the source of the problem with the sewer system was still a mystery.

Today, though, Mayor Allen Orwick says crews discovered a valve near the lagoon had failed. It has already been replaced.

Despite that good news, the boil order for drinking water remain in effect until the system can be tested.

Mayor Orwick says that could take a day or two.
