GF/EGF to Spray for Mosquitoes Thursday Night

The cities are concerned about the appearance of the type of mosquito that carries West Nile Virus.

Greater Grand Forks will be sprayed for mosquitos for the first time tomorrow night.

The mosquito trap count from overnight was only four, but Grand Forks Mosquito Control says that number is artificially low because of the cool temperatures overnight.

The cities are also concerned about the appearance of the type of mosquito that carries West Nile Virus.

Spray trucks will head out Thursday night starting at about nine o'clock. Even though the chemical used is safe for residential use, it's a good idea to stay inside for 20 to 30 minutes until the spray cloud dissipates.
