"K9 Kruiser" Hits Crookston Streets

If you ever thought is was pain to take your dog in for grooming, you might be in luck. A new Crookston business will come to you for a trim.

Beginning this month the mobile dog groomers "K9 Kruisers" hit the streets of Crookston. Owner Marcia Locke who's main job is a hair dresser, says she got a lot of questions from her clients about where people can get there dogs hair cut. She got the idea for a mobile grooming unit when driving in Fargo this spring.

Marcia "Pearl" LockeOWNS K9 KRUISERS:

"I was at a stop light and a bus pulls up beside me, and says "Paw and Spa mobile dog grooming. "

She and her husband already owned a truck. They installed a hot water heater, tub, and air conditioning.

Locke says this summer the business will travel around to different towns. She says the first week of business was great.
