BOB ROST AND MIKE FLANNERY TO FACE-OFF IN SHERIFF'S RACE

Grand Forks Detective Mike Flannery and Major Bob Rost of the sheriff's department will face-off in November in the race for Grand Forks County Sheriff. Rost was the top vote-getter with 2,791 Flannery had 1,268.

Grand Forks Detective Mike Flannery and Major Bob Rost of the Sheriff's Department will face-off in November in the race for Grand Forks County Sheriff. The two were the top vote-getters in the Tuesday primary election, which narrowed that race from 6 candidates.

Rost was the top vote-getter with 2,791 Flannery had 1,268.

They will meet in the November 2 election in the race for sheriff to replace retiring long-time sheriff Dan Hill.
