BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Secretary of State Al Jaeger says he's disappointed by the lack of voter interest in Tuesday's election.
North Dakota's voter turnout was just over 20 percent. State census officials estimate North Dakota has almost 503,000 eligible voters. Almost 102,000 people voted on Tuesday.
Jaeger says the results are the final votes for a number of city, school board and park board elections. He says those contests deserve more attention from North Dakotans.
