Loved ones of a Larimore man killed in a motorcycle accident last year gathered tonight in Crookston to celebrate his memory.

Roger Ready was a leader of the Christian Motorcyclists Association.

The memorial was held at Rainbow Coffee House in Crookston, where Roger sang in a Christian band and was a frequent visitor.

Family members are calling it a celebration of his life and a remembrance of his Christian faith and friendly nature.

"I don't know, he was always a person who wanted to give, you know, and I think that looking and knowing where its needed that's what he would want to do and that was his heart and his compassion," says Ready's sister Linda Janich.

"And its just a way of letting him know that how much his love for the Lord and His ministry showed through everybody, and how it left us to fill that void that we felt with him," says Ready's sister Karen Batzlaff.

Money raised at tonight's memorial service will go back to the Rainbow Coffee House which needs roof and pipe repairs.
