Former Sioux Dressler gets extension with Roughriders
The CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders announced on Thursday that they have signed former UND wide receiver Weston Dressler to an extension. No details were given.
Dressler, a Bismarck native, was the league's outstanding rookie in 2008. In 29 regular season games, Dressler has 10 touchdowns, 118 receptions and 3,182 all-purpose yards.
Dressler missed Saskatchewan's run to the Grey Cup game last fall after sustaining a broken leg and sprained ankle in a win over Toronto on Oct. 10.
