1 Killed in Devils Lake Accident on Highway 19

A fatal accident on state Highway 19 west of Devils Lake shut down traffic at the Six Mile Bay Bridge on Wednesday morning.

A 54-year old Devils Lake man is dead after a head-on crash this morning on Highway 19 west of Devils Lake at the Six Mile Bay Bridge.

The man was a passenger in a suburban towing a boat that collided with a small delivery truck at 6:50 this morning.

The drivers of both vehicles. 51-year-old Clinton Devier of Devils Lake and 19-year-old Caleb Day of Jamestown were hospitalized in Devils Lake.

Day was air-lifted to a Fargo hospital.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
