Update: Gillespie Will Be Appointed Chief
Emerado police chief Tim Gillespie says he will be re-appointed as chief.
Emerado police chief Tim Gillespie says he will be re-appointed as chief.
Tuesday, WDAZ reported that the the newly elected Mayor Brent Aspinwall was not going to re-appoint Tim Gillespie as Police Chief.
Later after that meeting Gillespie was approached by Aspinwall and stated that he will re-appoint Gillespie at the next council meeting July 12.
There has been no reasons for or against the re-appointment released at this time.
