The 5th annual Grafton RibFest was Friday night as part of this weekend's SummerFest.
This year's RibFest had 14 contestants trying to win bragging rights for the best ribs in town.
Each contestant is given 40 pounds of ribs, but can buy more if they want. And with over 500 people eating, those ribs went fast.
Second year contestant Keith Shutt says his ribs have the edge thanks to his ingredients.
"I don't buy any store bought sauce, mine's all homemade from scratch so I think that helps. Um, I don't know, it's just everybody likes bragging rights I guess but it's just a fun time," Shutt says.
Festivities continue through the weekend with the 5K run and parade Saturday morning in Grafton.
