The storm hit Grafton around 4:30 and came with one-hundred mile per hour winds, heavy rain, and hail.
The city's hanger holding 5 private planes had its doors blown in and was pushed off its foundation. All of the planes were damaged.
Damage is being estimated at 150-thousand dollars to the airplanes plus the cost of replacing the hanger.
There is also flooding in the nearby farm fields and broken branches throughout the town.
"Well we feel that it was more or less just high winds. Like I said, we had 100 mph clocked wind on our meter, and it was pretty much just straight line wind and lots of heavy rain," airport business manager Jared Pokrzywinski says.
There was a power pole down just east of the airport and power was out in the area for about half an hour.
