Job Outlook Good In North Dakota
Officials at Job Service say the job market in the State looks better than a year ago.
Finding a job may be stressful, but officials at Job Service in Grand Forks say the outlook is good in North Dakota.
Although there is more competition for specialized or higher paying jobs,opportunities in the city are up 7-percent from last year.
Officials say along with that they have seen a 5-percent increase in the number of people looking for those jobs.
Job services has seen a lot of new job opportunities in construction and the food service industry this year.
"Our market stays resilient and strong compared to the rest of the country." Area manager Keith Reitmeier said."I think it isn't just the western part of North Dakota that's strong, of course they're very strong, but we're up over last year in job openings about 7-percent."
Job service also offers resume workshops and interview training classes to help those hunting for a job.
