Grafton Man Charged With Dragging Girl On Dog Leash

A Grafton man is facing charges after authorities say he drug a 12-year-old girl using a dog leash.
23-year-old Raylon Hawkins is facing two counts of child neglect or abuse, which is a class C felony.
This charges are in addition to aggravated assault, criminal mischief, terrorizing and domestic abuse charges.
Authorities say he told the twelve-year-old he was going to 'treat her like a dog.' He wrapped a leash around her neck and dragged her around his home.
There was a preliminary hearing today in Walsh County.
Grafton Police arrested Hawkins on March 22. He'll be back in court next month.
