A district judge has issued a gag order in the case of a Manvel man charged with killing his brother.
45-year-old Rodney Chisholm had a gag order and status hearing today.
Chisholm has admitted to killing his brother, 59-year-old Donald Chisholm. Both men are from Manvel. Bond is set at one million dollars for Rodney, who told authorities he and Donald had a fight. He says he killed Donald by striking him in the head with a metal pipe and strangling him. The gag order prevents prosecutors, defendants, witnesses, and defense attorneys from commenting on the case.
It goes into affect immediately.
