Today was Day 3 of the trial for a Rugby woman charged with child abuse.

Lori Ann Voeller faces 8 counts of Child Abuse or Neglect.

Authorities say Voeller physically abused the kids at the daycare she ran from her home. The jury today heard from kids who attended the daycare and their parents.

Parents told the jury about how much their kids disliked going to the daycare. They talked about how their kids would call Voeller "mean".

One mother said her son would get so worked up before going that he would nearly make himself sick. The parents also said Voeller often complained about the kids...and sometimes they questioned her behavior.

"[One of the kids] made some comment about how Lori was mean and Lori heard it and she got very upset, very defensive. She had a bag of Doritos in her hand at that time and she threw it across her yard," said parent Sara Radomski.

If convicted, Voeller faces up to 10 years in jail per charge.
