FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A Fort Totten woman has been sentenced to two years of probation on a charge of theft from Indian tribal organization.

Authorities say 29-year-old Melissa Rose Hunt pleaded guilty in April to fraudulently preparing and signing loans in the names of others at the Spirit Lake financial office where she was employed.

United States District Court Judge Ralph Erickson sentenced Hunt last week. She was ordered to pay restitution which will be determined later.
