The Air Force has its Final Environmental impact statement for the new un-manned aerial systems for public review. For the next 30 days the public will have another chance to voice their opinion on the impact statement.
Officials say they have already made many changes to their plans for UAS airspace because of public concerns. They are hoping for more feed-back from the public. They hope to have the impact statement finalized by September.
The Air Force says they have made every attempt to make sure that the UAS training areas are free from all public routes.
"The type of air space we are recommending and the procedures we are talking about using are really one of a kind they not ever been done before." Says Doug Allbright the Chief of Integrated Planning for the Air Force.
