Lincoln Drive Park was alive with laughter tonight as families came out for Family Fun Night and Chalk It Up.
The Grand Forks Park District holds this event to get people into the park and to celebrate National Parks and Recreation month.
There was free food and fun activities like inflatable bouncers, clowns and a parade.
Workers say this is a great environment to see the kids in because there is so much for them to do and see.
"It's kind of just to say thank you for supporting the park district throughout the entire year. Everything here is free for them to do, so all of the kids and the parents enjoy it. The just for fun kids really enjoyed the parade and all the stuff they get to do."park district worker Cody Lunde said.
The event is free and open to the public and workers say they look forward to it as much as the kids do.
