Alerus Center Building Back Up

If you build it they will come. If you maintain it, they will still come. That is what members of the Alerus Commission are hoping for anyway.

Having maintained sales for the last four years, the Alerus commission is now looking to build back up.

So far in 2010 financials are looking good. While June..July and August are typically down months for the facility conventions have been holding steady. Weddings and other events continue to roll in compensating for losses elsewhere.

As for the arena side, the commission hopes that five Division One Football games and a concert rental will help with revenue.

"Overall the Alerus Center has been doing very well at maintaining its level of revenue," says Curt KreunALERUS COMMISSION.

Construction is continuing in the suites and at the Club level in the arena.

Also planning is underway for the 10th Anniversary celebration.
