There's new information on the murder of a Manvel man after authorities conducted several search warrants.
45-year-old Rodney Chisholm is accused of killing his brother, 59-year-old Donald Chisholm. Both men are from Manvel.
According to court documents, authorities obtained search warrants to look at vehicles, cell phones and land belonging to the brothers. They found papers showing that the two had been in disputes over family property. Authorities also found directions and a phone number for Phil Nagel, who lives in California. A friend had told authorities that Nagel had talked to Rodney, saying that he was driving to California because he killed his brother.
Rodney will be in court next month for a preliminary hearing.
