Cleaning up Garden Plots

With only a few fruits and vegetables still growing..it's time to think about cleaning up plots at the Devils Lake City Garden.

The garden is in its 6th year and has grown from 27 plots to 91.

With fall approaching people with plots are asked to do some clean up.

The city will provide a container for plant waste..

And because the program has ran smoothly..other cities would like to know how Devils Lake does it.

Helen Carlson is the Engineering Secretary.

She says, "I've had a number of calls from other cities asking how's your program run, what do you guys do, because there is such an interest and word travels."

The city expects everyone plots to be cleaned by the end of September.
