A warroad man is facing six felony theft charges for stealing more than $52,000 from his workplace.
32-year-old Ryan Charles Cass will make his first appearance in Roseau County Court on Monday.
Cass was a cashier at Doug's Supermarket in Warroad.
Police say between between May 2007 and November 2009, Cass was stealing from the cash register.
They say he would not ring up certain items, and then charge the customer more than the actual total.
He would not give the customers receipts, and would pocket the extra money at the end of his shift.
Police say Cass admitted to stealing the money in a message to his boss.
He is facing a maximum of ten years and $20,000 in fines for each charge.
