It has been ten years since the Alerus Center opened its doors in Grand Forks. When is did over 25,000 people came out to show their support for the venue and the ten year celebration committee is hoping for just as many for the ten year celebration.

Working with Ad Monkeys, the committee has reviewed seven new logos in which they are hoping to incorporate the building into it for the event.

The committee is also working on planning an open house for community members to come in and see all the changes that have taken place over the last ten years.

"Even with the CanadInn connected to us we have doubled wedding receptions, doubled conventions that we have every year and it's a great asset to the community," says Charlene Wifall, ALERUS 10-year celebration committee.

The committee is hoping to have the celebration on March 16th of 2011 with an open house for the community.
