Devils Lake Airport Confident Delta Won't Cancel FlightsAlthough Delta is cancelling other flights in North Dakota, Devils Lake Regional Airport feels confident they won't see any changes.
Delta is making some changes to their flights in North Dakota.
They've canceled all flights from Minot to Salt Lake City and one of two out of Bismarck.
But the manager of the Devils Lake Regional Airport says they're confident Delta will not change their flights to and from Devils Lake.
The airport has seen an increase in boardings the past two months and they expect to set another record in August.
Airport Manager John Nord says that if the canceling of the Delta Flights does have an affect on Devils Lake, it will be on a positive note.
Nord says, "people will be looking for alternate routes, cheaper transportation, better connections and so on so if it doe shave an affect it should be positive."
The flights in Minot and Bismarck were cancelled due to lack of interest.
