70-Year-Old Killed In Car Crash
A woman was killed after a car accident west of Bemidji, MN.
Rain may have been a factor in a crash near Bemidji that killed 70-year-old Johanna Achilles of Nevis, MN.
The accident happened at Highways 2 and 89 Friday night.
The Highway Patrol says a van driven by Achilles going south stopped at a stop sign, then went through the intersection.
It was hit by another vehicle driven by 34-year-old Travis Anderson of Bovey, MN, who was going west.
The Patrol says Anderson switched lanes and hit the brakes when he saw the van entering the roadway.
Anderson and a passenger in Achilles' van were not hurt.
