Baggage Area Partially Evacuated at Minneapolis Airport
The baggage claim area at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was briefly evacuated Monday
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A section of the baggage claim area at the
Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was briefly evacuated
after three bags were left unattended.
WCCO-TV reports that authorities were told of the unattended
bags around 12:30 p.m. Monday. The area was evacuated while the
Bloomington Bomb Squad investigated and removed the bags.
The area near baggage carousels 7, 8 and 9 were reopened by 3
p.m.
Flights were unaffected.
