Bureau of Indian Affairs Police Officer in Court
A 41-year old Bureau of Indian Affairs Police Officer was in Court this morning for stabbing a Devils Lake Woman.

Duane Gunville
Duane Gunville was charged with aggravated assault in August and made his initial appearance today.
After he plead not guilty..witnesses were called to the stand.
A jury trial has been scheduled for February.
He was arrested after a standoff in Belcourt in August.
Gunville worked as a BIA Police Officer on the Spirit Lake Nation.
Aggravated Assault is a Class C Felony.
The maximum penalty is five years and a $5,000 fine.
