Highway Patrol Releases Name of Victim in Sarles, ND Crash

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a 28-year-old Langdon man who was killed in a car crash Sunday morning.
Justin Mikkelsen was on a gravel road near Sarles around 3 am.
The state Highway Patrol says Mikkelsen was alone in his southbound 2008 Ford pickup five miles west of Sarles when he entered the west ditch of a gravel road about 3:10 a.m. Sunday. The man over-corrected, causing the pickup to roll. The pickup came to a stop on its wheels.
He was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on the scene.
