Winona, MN police are looking for two robbers who held up a McDonald's restaurant armed with a gun and a mallet, forcing two employees into a cooler.

WINONA, Minn. (AP) — Winona police are looking for two robbers who held up a McDonald's restaurant armed with a gun and a mallet, forcing two employees into a cooler.

Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams says the robbery happened about 4 a.m. Sunday as the manager and another employee were preparing to open the restaurant. The robbers stole money from the safe as well as the employees' cell phones and $400 in cash from one of the employees.

The two men forced two employees inside a walk-in cooler and told them to stay on the ground. The employees waited about 20 minutes, then found the robbers gone.

One of the robbers wore a "Scream"-style mask.
