Heightened Awareness at GF Mission After Bomb Threat

A bomb scare at the Northlands Rescue Mission had residents evacuated and a perimeter set up.

Heightened awareness at the Northlands Rescue Mission in Grand Forks after a bomb scare Tuesday night.

A man called the mission around 9:15 Tuesday night and said, "there is a bomb that will go off at 10 pm"

Police responded, and everyone in the building was evacuated.

The bomb squad was called in.

Police set up about a one block perimeter around the building.

No bomb went off, but authorities are still investigating.
