The Civil Air Patrol's North Dakota Wing has been presented an award recognizing members for excellence in Disaster Relief. The Award recognizes outstanding work in the floods of 2009 and 2010. That included supporting sandbagging operations in Fargo and elsewhere.
They also assisted with clean-up and other disaster-related assignments across the state. Civil Air Patrol planes captured high resolution images of the flooding for state and federal agencies.
