A Langdon man is facing 11 charges after authorities say he fired shots at a vehicle two men were in.

A Langdon man is facing 11 charges, including reckless endangerment and terrorizing, after authorities say he fired several shots at a pickup two men were in.

33-year-old Jeffery Jones made his first appearance in Cavalier County District Court today. Bond was set at $100,000.

Authorities say a group of men got into a fight at Gutters Lounge in Langdon Saturday night.

Sheriff's deputies broke up the fight. They say one of the men had a bloody face from being struck by Jones. According to the criminal complaint, deputies gave Jones, who was drunk, a ride home.

Then later in the night, the two men involved in the fight drove by Jones' house, and that's when they say Jones fired a gun in the air and then at the pickup.

Authorities say they found four bullet holes in the pickup's tailgate.

Deputies surrounded the house for several hours. The Grand Forks SWAT team arrived; they were eventually able to convince Jones to come out of the house without incident.

If convicted, Jones faces a maximum of more than 25 years in prison.
