Former LP-A basketball coaches make their initial court appearances

(WDAY TV) - Two former high school girls' basketball coaches for Lake Park-Audubon made their initial court appearances in Stearns County yesterday.

    WDAY 6 News has learned police from St. Cloud have been interviewing members of the L-P-A girls basketball team after an alleged incident at an out of town hotel during a holiday tournament.

33-year-old Andrew Schwan and 28-year-old Darrin Myhre are accused of sexually touching two players and offering them alcohol while staying at a hotel for an out-of-town tournament.

Neither men entered a plea yesterday and both were released on their own recognizance. The charges stem from an incident at a St. Cloud hotel last December. A parent reported the allegations to St. Cloud police.
