Unwanted Visitor in Red Lake Falls School

School officials say an unwanted visitor entered a Lafayette High School classroom Tuesday.

Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls, MN had an unwanted visitor Tuesday.

Superintendent Joel Young says a man entered a classroom through an exterior door Tuesday afternoon.

A teacher immediately ordered the man out of the classroom.

He then went into the hallway.

The man was taken to the school's office where he identified himself as an evangelical preacher.

Young says after being asked to leave the man left the school property peacefully.

Young says as a precaution, he did call the Red Lake County Sheriff.

The man told the sheriff's department his car broke down and he was making his way to Ada.
