Alerus Center hosts large training exercise

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Military and civilian officials on Wednesday were taking part in a large training exercise at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.

Participants came from the National Guard's Fargo-based 81st Civil Support Team, and the Grand Forks Air Force Base and city of Grand Forks fire departments, along with civilian first responders.

A similar exercise was held a year ago at the state Capitol in Bismarck.
